A special gallery created by SportsShooter.com member Will Lester "2004 Images"     [index] <<- Previous Next ->> In the Hot Seat NHRA top fuel driver Bob Hallock is engulfed in flames as his engine explodes after loosing his crankshaft as a rod cap blows off his engine Saturday afternoon February 28, 2004 during qualifying for Sunday's 44th annual NHRA Winternationals at the Pomona Raceway. Hallock was not injuried in the incident.
