Firefighter Loren Mccry of the Navajo Estates Volunteer Fire Department stands helpless as he watches a trailer fire on Interstate 40 at about the eight mile marker just west of Gallup, N.M., Monday, August 12, 2002. Mccry was waiting the arrival of the McKinley County Fire Department or the Gallup Fire Department. Mccry was traveling on Interstate 40 when he came upon the fire which closed the east bound portion of the interstate for about 12 minutes.
