Missouri Women vs. Kansas 5
Near-50-percent shooting from the field in the last 26 minutes of play weren't enough to dig the Missouri women out of a 23-point deficit at the outset, as Kansas registered a 60-42 win in Big 12 Conference action Saturday afternoon at Mizzou Arena. Missouri started out as cold as Kansas did hot, as the Tigers missed their first eight shots from the field while KU took an 18-2 lead on 8-of-11 field-goal shooting. MU's first bucket didn't come until junior Christelle N'Garsanet scored from inside with 12 minutes, 21 seconds left in the first half.
