Here's a simple portrait project I worked on with a bunch of grad students at Tufts University who are trying to integrate their skills in the circus arts into their studies.
A little known fact — P.T. Barnum was one of the founding donors when the university was just getting started. You'd think there'd be circus performers everywhere, but alas, I had to settle for the next best thing — graduate students.

I am a staff photographer at Tufts University, where I cover the daily life of students, faculty and staff at all three of our campuses across Massachusetts. I often hire photographers for freelance work for University publications in out-of-state markets, as well.
Outside of Tufts, I work one weekend day a week for the Boston Herald and freelance for various national news wires and publications.
