19 Cpt. Tim Patterson, a Franklin police officer from New Berlin, is reunited with his 8-year-old daughter, Abby, shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at General Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee, Wis. Due to inclement weather, Patterson's flight into Milwaukee was delayed nearly six hours. Approximately 15 family members, including Patterson's wife, Margie, and his father, Jerry, gathered at the airport to welcome home the soldier. Patterson has returned from a one-year tour of duty overseas, where he served as a member of the military police in Afghanistan. Patterson will be returning to his position with the Franklin Police Department in mid-February.
