Mexico Distrito Federal, Mexico -- 8/14/03 -- A statue is seen at the very sight where Mexico City was formed. History says the Aztecs were nomads and one of their gods told them to look for an eagle eating a snake on top of a cactus. Once they found this place, that's where they would settle. The Aztecs, according to history, found this place in what is now Mexico Distrito Federal. The area surrounding the statue is filled with govermental offices, including President Vicente Fox's.
