Mejico Trip, Summer 2003

Tepexpan, Estado de Mexico -- 8/1/03 -- Since this is the first photo of the "Mejico Trip, summer 2003" series, I would like to give details about myself. I was born and raised til the age of 10 in Mexico State, which is about 30 minutes out of Mexico City (or as people call it Mexico Distrito Federal or Mexico D.F.). This place is often confused with the D.F. but it's a total different place. The D.F. is the big city and the State is more country and slow-living as opposed to the high-crime and always-moving D.F. I have not been back to my land in six years, eight months, so it was definetly a re-learning experience. Now, let's get to the photos... The morning sunrise is seen from the top of my grandmother's house in Tepexpan, Mexico on Aug. 1. The cloudy sky allowed for the great color at 6 a.m.
