Blome lost consciousness during the same championship match last year, and had to forfeit. It enhanced the definition of this year's victory.

Mary Langenfeld's Message: A Madison-based photographer since 1990, her camera explores various genres to capture and celebrate. Clients include Waukesha Freeman and the Green Bay Press Gazette, Isthmus (a Madison weekly), and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Mary also is a contract photographer for USA Today Sports Images. Although she covers many sports events, those skills translate into capturing other photography venues.
