The 2.2-mile loop circles the top of Oberg Mountain with views of Leveaux Mountain, Lake Superior, Moose Mountain, and Oberg Lake. According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, inland maples and understory species are at peak and should remain that way through the weekend.
