Correct Mounting During my first few test shots, I found that its critical to keep the flash head mounted as far down in the "holding slot" as possible. Otherwise, the lens of the flash unit gets into the ring light's output and, since the lens surface is way brighter than the light being reflected off the ring reflector, your shadows wont be as even or punchy.
