Maintaining my Sanity A pleasure craft owned by Mario Tamayo (not pictured) of Whiting, Ind., is pounded into the rocks by high surf near Whihala Beach in Whiting, Wednesday evening, August 30, 2006. Mario Tamayo, along with Jose Tamayo and "Junior" Tamayo, all of Whiting, had just launched the boat and cleared the breakwall when the boat was swamped by a wave, stalling the boat's engine. The men abandoned the vessel when the engine could not be restarted.
