Comments | [02/22/05] If you want to shoot indoor sports, but can't yet afford the 70-200VR, then this baby is just what you need. It is one of the best bargains in high speed lenses on the market. Although it's not an AFS model it focuses very quickly, and it's sharp-sharp-sharp with nice bokeh. It is also much lighter than the zooms - something to consider if you're shooting all day long. If you dream of having the 200/2.0VR when you win the lottery, why not get this baby and start shooting! The only reason this lens doesn't get a 10 rating from me is that it doesn't have an AFS motor. Then again, you're not paying for one, either.
