For 37-year-old corporate lawyer Chris Campbell, the absence of an Olympic medal allowed him no peace. After an U. S. boycott in 1980 and an injury in 1984, he returned to the sport in 1992 after a self-imposed retirement - making the U. S. Olympic team and winning the bronze medal in the 198 pound weight class at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
