In today's new adventurous world, photographers are tackling the challenges and opportunities of Adventure Photography -- and after a pilot workshop in 2006, the Adventure Photography Workshop is officially launched under the auspices of National Geographic Adventure magazine. Four days of classroom, career counseling and field photography in the Grand Tetons provide an not only an insider's view on technical and creative advances, but also advise with practical career-development in this fast growing field. The faculty includes SportsShooter.com member Corey Rich, who is arguably the top adventure/action photographer in the nation today. James Balog is a true artist with unique books and exhibitions added to his abilities as a great teacher. Sabine Meyer brings a photo editor's perspective, responsible for commissioning and editing photography at National Geographic Adventure magazine.
