Troutman 2005 || Salinas, CA - 7/9/05 – Eric Bostrom #32 gets off the line ahead of polesitter Mat Mladin in Saturday’s Parts Unlimited AMA Superbike race. Bostrom would fend off an attack by Mladin on lap three in the last corner before the straight. “It was a really nice move," said Bostrom. "It was cool to watch. The bike was pretty sideways going in there and he wasn’t able to quite stick the inside so I was able to square him up and get him right back.” "It was a good race and congratulations to Eric," Mladin said. "I wanted to get to the front and control it from the front. But my one attempt at that sucked pretty badly. I started thinking about the championship and backed off a little and Eric was able to pull away," said Mladin.
