Troutman 2005 || San Jose, CA - 7/29/05 – All the Champ Car drivers shared serious concerns about safety at the new street course in San Jose during the weekend and some, like Alex Tagliani, were particularly outspoken. Here he describes to officials on Friday morning his fears about the treacherous first corner chicane, which was directly on top of the railroad tracks near the pit exit at the fastest segment of the course. The organizers were very responsive in addressing the issues and the weekend was ultimately a safe one.
