Troutman 2006 || Salinas, CA - 3/11/06 – Graham Rahal, driving for Team Lebanon based on his ethnic heritage, was disappointed that eleventh place in qualifying didn’t pay off in the races Sunday. “The sprint race was really difficult; there was so little visibility I could only follow by the red brake lights of the car in front,” he said. “We had a great start though and passed a few cars, but the wet weather really created problems. We damaged the car in the incident with Germany, which gave the team plenty of work between the races, but they managed to fix it. We had a great start (in the feature race)…ended up running up front and on the pace…(I’m) happy with our performance, but not happy that we didn’t finish. We’ll be trying our best again in China.”
