Snowman
Image © D.M. Troutman 2006 || Salinas, CA - 3/11/06 – Team Germany’s Timo Scheider approves of Team Netherlands handiwork after a once-in-a-lifetime overnight snowfall at the circuit. Several teams made the most of the conditions, having snowball fights and making snowmen for fun; on the track it was all business, however. After finishing his last race for Team Germany on the podium, Scheider commented: “It was a good race, but in difficult conditions. This was my last race in A1GP before I go back to DTM, and I’m happy for the team that we got a podium. Thankfully we benefited from Nicolas not finishing the race. Overall I’m very happy I did A1GP. I hope I can do A1GP again… it is a spectacular series, and great to watch. There is real racing and real overtaking, not just in the pits like in Formula One.”
