Street Geyser
Tony Barnes and Joel Aguirre work to plug a water main on Cain St. NE in Decatur Tuesday. While digging to install a line that will supply water for a fire service in the federal building, a backhoe knocked a line tap known as a corporation off causing a geyser. Barnes and Aguirre are shown inserting a threaded valve into the line that allowed them to shut off the leak.
