Shooters Choice Award: "Nursing Home Window Visit"
Sarah Miller/Tyler Morning Telegraph | Brenda Corley of Tyler, Texas uses a dry erase marker on a portable whiteboard to communicate through the window with Reunion Plaza nursing home resident Helen Moss, age 97, on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in Tyler, Texas. Corley visits Moss about once a week. Corley and Moss met twelve years ago as neighbors. Due to the coronavirus, nursing homes and senior citizen facilities in the Tyler area are not allowing guests inside the building, but some guests have been visiting residents at their windows. "I love seeing and talking to you," Moss said to Corley. Copyright: Sarah A. Miller/Tyler Morning Telegraph
