Second Place: "Senior Floor General"
Francis Gardler/Lincoln Journal Star | Nebraska point guard Glynn Watson Jr.'s three-point shooting, which reached 40 percent as a sophomore, dipped last season. He finished 5-of-7 in a recent game and looked the part of a senior floor general. "I’m just doing whatever the team needs from me. I’m going to be aggressive — Coach Miles wants me to be aggressive, so that’s just one thing I’m going to do," Watson said. "Just be aggressive, try to get my teammates going, then take open shots." The senior is averaging 15.2 points per game on 56 percent shooting, including 52 percent from three-point range, one season after he shot 29 percent behind the arc. Copyright: Lincoln Journal Star
