Classified Listing: Internship from Travis Morisse Title: Paid Internship mid-Feb thru May : The Hutchinson News Description: The Hutchinson News, a 40,000 circulation newspaper covering southwest and south-central Kansas, is looking for a motivated photographer for our photojournalism internship program. College photojournalism students with two years of college experience and recent graduates will be considered. The candidate will be treated as a staff photographer working 40-hour weeks during the paid internship. The candidate will work closely with the photo editor and staff photographers. The candidate will travel and transmit photos from remote locations, prepare images for publication, and generate their own photo ideas. The candidate must have reliable transportation. It is preferred that candidates supply their own digital equipment. Our internships are offered: winter internship mid-February to May, and fall internship mid-August to December.
