Georgia Tech hosted 1-AA Gardner-Webb University ... and had to hold on for an ugly 10-7 win ....
Gardner-Webb had a chance to send the game into OT - but a field goal attempt with :03 seconds left in the game was tipped by Ga Tech and sailed wide left, assuring Tech of the slim win ....
This was Gardner-Webb's first ever football game with an ACC opponent ....
