Lane County at 150
Worthy of its name, Blue River swirls in an eddy of aqua as it joins the dark and roiling McKenzie River in eastern Lane County. Tributaries like Quartz Creek, Gate Creek, Camp Creek and the Mohawk river feed the McKenzie further downstream, where it joins the Willamette, the lifeblood of the Willamette Valley. "Water and life are two threads woven intrinically together." --David Cavagnaro, "Living Water"
