Somali House
Language evaluators show the ladies common images in their new country. They look at pictures of the supermarket, a house, a soccer game to see how many words they know. Abdi speaks no English. She says through the interpreter several times that she wishes to learn. Hussein is literate in Somali and has learned a few English words in the camp. She calls the house "smart" and says she wants to live in one someday.
