Chiquita Chambliss, far left, Marcus Melbourne, back center and Lamara Marshall, far right, spend the arternoon outside with Jennifer James and her 3-month-old daughter Kerita James at the house of Jennifer's mother Geraldine Melbourne out in front of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. "We have seen changes but there's always going to be ignorant people in the world. There's still racism in white eyes and black eyes," said 20-year-old James. "The Martin Luther King Jr. parade isn't what it used to be. It used to be something to look forward to. I think more people should participate because if it wasn't for him, we couldn't do a lot of the things we do today," she continued.
