Nelson Weaver closes the garage door of Ned's Auto Services for good while moving out of his shop on the corner of U.S. 1 and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Weaver is transplanting his business one mile north on Old Dixie Highway after 10 years of service at the current location. Weaver, who sites differences with his landlord as the reason for moving out, is not alone along the stretch of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Other businesses have come and gone through the years, leaving their empty structures to be torn down, reinhabited or rebuilt.
