These four portraits are from a Veterans Day ceremony here in Ventura. I went to the ceremony with a very specific couple of shots in mind and these fine gentlemen were kind enough to give me some of their time before the ceremony. I've been a photographer in one way or another for 10 years now. First in high school with black and white street photography, then in college in Minneapolis as a photo editor for the school newspaper and now I'm pursuing a career in photojournalism at Brooks Institute in Ventura, Calif.
