Owen's paternal grandmother Bonnie Staples, left, and maternal grandmother Pat Faynor help him into the bathroom a few hours before his transplant. Owen was still receiving a blood transfusion from the IV tubing to help strengthen him before the transplant. Angela said "Owen is blessed with many grandparents." He has six including two step-grandparents.
